Settlement Check Disbursement

Blue Cross was notified over 30 days

ago and has not filed a lien/claim

against my settlement proceeds. Can

my lawyer now give me my money??

Probably not yet. This is a complicated area of the law. Your issue is probably governed by ERISA -- a very consumer unfriendly federal statute that favors the insurance company and not the injured (surprise, surprise).
