Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

wrongful death lawsuit

I work at a childcare center and we had a wrongful death suit that was settled. About a month later they were out front of the center protesting, we ended up losing some of our children. She also got a hold of some of the evidence, which was a video of what happened in the classroom. She posted on the internet that if anyone wanted to see it they just had to contact her. What recourse do we have? It really bothers me that she has this video. How do we get it back?

Re: wrongful death lawsuit

The settlement agreement should have included a confidentiality clause, as well as other provisions related to what you describe. You should consult with your attorney to review the agreement and address your rights in this situation.

Re: wrongful death lawsuit

The settlement should have been confidential with each party prohibited from taking any further actions.
