Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

If a company is operating in the State of Florida as a provider of multiple home rental properties that are owned in part or collectively by an LLC and a tenant in one of the homes who has never been late on a lease payment and has never violated the lease, the community covenants, or the law, can that tenant be denied an opportunity to continue into a renewal of the lease when the landlord only wants to get a different tenant in the property? Our landlord has told us that they do not wish to renew our lease without any reason for such. The same landlord intends to lease our house but to someone else just not us.We believe that it maybe possible that the landlord wants to get a much higher lease rate above what we are paying and what might be fair for an increase in lease rates.

Unless your current lease allows for renewal, then the landlord can do as they wish.
