Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

We need to get out of a contract we signed to build a new home

My husband and I signed a contract on 10/13 to have Ashton Woods Homes build a house for us, after going to the Design Center we find out that we only had couple option included in the base price which we failed to read. In order for us to have the house we want we needed a loan for up to $380.000, we were already approved for $339.900 with 10% down which will give a mortgage of $308.000, of course we thought we will not qualify for such loan because we already have a mortgage payment fro $1.830 and also a home equity loan for $350 on top of car payments and credit card payments, well Wells Fargo approved us for the loan doing a Rental market analisis in our home. How can we get out of a contract when we think we are the ones to blame for not reading the paper work? As of today we have no copies of the contract which the builder said they already sent via mail. Anything we can do?
