Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Florida. If my house is foreclosed on can they attach or take my savings account? I've been saving some money for my move. I can't afford the mortgage any longer.

I have not got a legal notice from the mortgage company or their lawyers. Lawyers who some how got the information before I did are trying to get me to use their services so I know it's going to happen soon. Thank you for your help.

If the also obtain a deficiency money judgment against you, they can try to obtain your assets.
