Can a property management company actually forclose if you fall behind on the monthly fee for maintaining the property?

Yes the homeowner's association or condo association can foreclose on a lien filed against your property for delinquent homeowners/condo association fees under Florida law. So, I would strongly advise you to just pay the fee because it's not worth losing your home over a small amount of money. I recommended that you speak to a local attorney in your area that does real estate law or foreclosure defense if you have further questions.
