Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I live in my condominim have a mortgage on it it has extensive damage to interior due to the home owners assn not making repairs to leaky roof over the past three yrs. i have asked them repetedly to do so. now im faced with deteriated walls and mold in said walls. if i leave and let bank forclose what are the leagel obligations on my part? i live in florida.thanks for your input .

You are still fully liable to your lender under the terms of your mortgage, regardless of the issue with the HOA. You would have to sue the HOA to recoup your losses caused by them.
