Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Notary who notarized a forged deed

I would like to file a lawsuit for damages to the notary who signed/approved/notarized a forged deed to my property in Florida. At the moment, I am currently in a lawsuit trying to reclaim my property. I will like to go after the notary for personal damages becuase of his negligence and notary public official misconduct I am in this predicament. I am currently being treated for stress as well which I never had. Would it be possible to sue him for the cost of my lawyer fees and personal damages? any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

RESPONSE: (1) Where was the deed notarized? (2) You have no right to claim emotional distress because this is not a personal injury action. (3) Notaries in Florida have to post a bond, so you can always recover from the Notary's bond in the event they cannot pay. (4) The action you bring to clear your title is an "action to quiet title." (5) Good luck,
