Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Can I sue A condo Association

My mother has been continually herrassed and sued in court by the condo association she lives with in.. She has been verbally attacked in meetings over some of the stupidist thing, I mean constant herassment, recently she found another notice on her door stating the dog that she owns that has lived there for 3 years is not allowed she must get rid of it. Just another form of herassment.. Do we have a case aginst these people she feels like she has to move or sell the property because they will not stop. This has gone on for years they even scared me so bad when I was pregnant saying there are no children allowed I had to move my grandmother out of there because I was her caregiver at the time and pregnant, also young and thought she would loose the place if I didnt get out asap because I was pregnant..( that was 9 years ago) thats how long this type of crap has been going on!

Re: Can I sue A condo Association

Yes you can sue an association. Some matters are handled through the filing of an arbitration complaint and some are handled with the filing of a lawsuit. Should you become the prevailing party in either forum you are entitled to attorney's fees and costs. Feel free to give me a call if you would like to discuss this matter further.
