Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

We are first time home buyers who purchase our 1st house in September 2008. Upon receiving notices from our insurance company and you a guy regarding the renewal of our insurances I was asked to also make sure our Homestead Exemption insurance was up to date. Up on doing so we uncovered that we are not qualifying for the Homestead exemption due to our names was not on the property DEED. I then Title Company at 954-437-9290 and spoke with a lady name Magaly who informed me that they are no longer a Title company and that they do not handle stuff like this anymore. What do i do now please?

If you bought the property, your name should be on the deed. Either you or your attorney should investigate this.
