Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Timeshare Deeds for Florida

A relative wishes to transfer two timeshare ownerships (Undivided Interest / Points) for a Wyndham resort in Orlando FL. Can we use the warranty deed forms found on LegalForms dot com to do the transfer, or does an attorney need to be involved? We're looking at a Warranty Deed instead of a Quit Claim Deed even though no money will change hands (thought it might be better for resale?) Thanks!

Re: Timeshare Deeds for Florida

It's always a bad idea to transfer real estate without involving a lawyer, but, yes, you can use a warranty deed that you find online. Whether you use a warranty or quitclaim deed is probably irrelevant for resale purposes.
