Legal Question in Tax Law in Florida

I am a boat captain for an individual who pays me as a sub-contractor. I pay my own payroll taxes as well as quarterlies. Is there any situation where I could be liable for any sales tax to the government in providing a service for this individual?

No. Your description of the situation indicates that you are an independent contractor, receiving a 1099 each year from the individual, paying quarterly estimated taxes for income and any unemployment insurance. Sales tax is not relevant to your situation as described.
