Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

Suspended license

I was pulled over for having expired tags. My license was suspended and I presented an old TN license. I was ticketed for a cracked windshield, no insurance, driving on a suspended license, presenting the TN license, and the expired tags (more than six months). What can I expect as punishment at my court date?

Punishments vary from judge to judge and county to county so it is impossible to give you any real answer. I would suggest that you attempt to clear up as much as you can before the hearing, however, in order to lessen any penalty.

The windshield should be fixed,,new license obtained if possible, and new tags purchased. Many judges will dismiss charges for non moving violations, if corrected prior to trial. Based on the seriousness of the totality of the charges, you should consider hiring an attorney to represent you.
