This is actually a criminal law question. Your 3rd DWLSR can be charged as a third degree felony, where the maximum penalty is up to 5 yrs in prison. The actual sentence would depend on your criminal record and the plea negotiations. You could be looking at probation only. The other concern is that regardless of the criminal penalty, the DMV may deem you to be an habitual offender, and suspend your license for 5 years, where you would not even qualify for a hardship license for a year. You should consult an attorney to review your criminal case, and to review your potential motor vehicle case.
