estate problems

when my father passed in 2006 he left a simple will that each of us get 1/3 my brother is named as the p.r. since my fathers death my brother sister and their friend have moved into my fathers house they are paying the mortage and insurance

they finall hired a lawyer to probate the estate the problem is is that there is really nothing left of the estate they claim my father had no personal possesions but yet he had the contents insured for 140,000 my brother signed my fathers car over to my sister i asked for a key to my fathers house i was to no also i was told that when the house sells i will only what the value is today . am i entitled to the value of my fathers estate when he passed yes or no why should i have to accept less than what the value was in 2006 what are my rights

You are entiled to 1/3 of whatever the Estate is worth today. I recommend you to meet with the Probate Attorney since you are a beneficiary of the Estate and seek his advice on what your rights are as a beneficiary.
