Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

father died

My father died in november 2008 and his wife (not my mother) has never filed his will or givin my brother and I a copy of the will after being asked for it. I dont know where to go with this and i need answers cause she has heirlooms that belonged to my fathers father. She refuses to let us go through his things and has been very cold to all of us. What am i to do?

If you know a will exists, you can bring an action to compel its production.

The will is required to be filed. Contact a lawyer, you can force the commencement of probate.
