Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Is it a LAW in Florida that I can'b be in the room with my mom and her lawyer when she is adding a codicil to her will, or is it just a practice of that law firm and if so can I object.

Your question seems to indicate that you have lost sight of the fact that the codicil is being executed to reflect your mother's wishes, not yours. It isn't up to you to object - more on point it isn't any of your business. Your mother is the client and that is who her attorney is looking after. If she wants you in the room, it is up to her to indicate that, and she will.

Same answer. You are not the client and have no rights.

My colleagues are correct. You should not be in the room. I would question your influence over your mother and question if you were somehow having too much influence over your mother.
