What are the legal responsibilities of a trustee about keeping other heirs informed about status of settling will?

A trustee does not settle a will. A personal representative is charged with responsibility for administering an Estate. There are no responsibilities to keep the heirs informed only obligations to give them notice of accountings, and motions to discharge and final accountings, etc.
