Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Person Representative/Co-Trustee

Being I am entitled to the fees for both of these positions. My next question would be how and when do I tell the Co-Trustee that I will be claiming my right to the Personal Representative fee and how do I go about claiming my right to this fee? Is there something that the other Co-Trustee can do to prohibit me from claiming this fee? This Co-Trustee will not be pleased about me claiming the PR fee and if possible will fight me over this fee.

If I were to assume that you're correct it doesn't make any difference how anyone feels about your fee. However, it would be important to review the documents and situation to make sure you're entitled to these fees under Florida law. If you would like me to assist you please e-mail me at note with a phone number telling me how I can reach you to discuss this matter further.

Re: Person Representative/Co-Trustee

If you are already appointed personal representative in a Florida Probate matter then you have legal counsel. I suggest you speak with your current attorney about this matter.
