Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

If your in probate and you're named beneficiary in an estate, and you do not want your gift that a loved one left you, can you give it away, while you're in probate? How does that work? Just tell an attorney? Thank you.

Yes you can waive your interest. Just contact the attorney handling the Estate.

If you disclaim your inheritance-it will be distributed as if you were deceased.

You can receive it-then gift as you please.
