Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

New Will

My Father In Law has a current will he had drawn up in Florida several years ago. He moved to Tennessee a couple of years ago and established a new residence and also remarried. Should he draw up a new will or will the old one suffice ?

Re: New Will

If the FL will was validly executed, it would also be valid in Tenn. However, if your father in law has established residency there, it is worth it to consult with a local attorney and consider any changes that he might be interested in making at the same time. Those changes might involve durable powers of attorney, designations of health care surrogates, living wills etc.
