Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Wills

Our Mass. attorney drew up our wills when we lived there.

We now have moved permanently to Florida. Are our Mass-made wills and durable powers of attorney valid in Florida?

Re: Wills

Probably valid, but you should update your will when you have a change in circumstances. Presumably this has happened since you have moved in Florida. It will be best if you have a new will drafted under Florida law in order to streamline any Probate.

If valid in Mass., they are valid in FLA.
