settlement offer

I had a settlement offer with my lawyer who decided put amount without ask [85k] but in the mediation carrier lawyer said 60k+tx but I not feel good with this offer because my heatlth is not the sae, my life and my little children 3, 7, 9 old years Do you think is necessary ask more amount? because I am death and this money is for children future.

It is very difficult to answer your question based on the little information provided. The best thing to do is to sit down with your attorney and ask why he or she feels the settlement was in your best interest. If your lawyer is an experienced lawyer, he or she is probably right. Moreover, it is very difficult to overturn a settlement that was obtained in mediation. Of course, you can always seek the opinion of another experience lawyer.
