weekly checks

i was fired from my job because of my disability , wc said ,' i wont get any checks for getting fired'', is this right?

It may not be right but it may be legal. There are some protections under Federal Law (Americans With Disabilities Act) and under state law (unlawful to fire someone because they file a workers' compensation claim). But otherwise not unlawful to fire someone who can no longer do the essential functions of the job. You can file a complaint with the EEOC for an ADA violation and consult a workers' compensation lawyer about your particular situation.
