Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Workmans comp.

I have had 1 orthopedic surgery14years ago due to car accident,and 1 orthopedc surgery 4years ago due to on the job injury ON MY RIGHT KNEE. I INJURED MY KNEE AGAIN on th job. the MRI idicated a torn cartlidge again. The workers comp Dr said it was a preexisting problem and surgery would not help.I am asking for a change of Dr.what can I do to get my knee fixed so Ican retun to work. Thanks

If you are denied the change of doctors and/or denied surgery, you will need to file a petition for benefits. You can do that without an attorney but it is very difficult. You should consult with a Florida Bar Board Certified workers' compensation lawyer in your area. You can find lawyers at the Florida Bar website or in the yellow pages. Good luck.
