Legal Question in Family Law in France

Do i have a right to ask alimony and how much alimony can i ask to my husband who want a devorce? he has 2 house for rent and a salary of 2500 euro per month? we are married more than 5 months only.

There is no permanent alimony in France. There is the possibility of temporary spousal support during the divorce procedure. Thereafter there is the possibility of a compensatory payment which replaces the concept of alimony. As your marriage was very brief, both the possibility of obtaining such a payment and the amount are uncertain. If you were married under a community property regime, you would have the right to 50% of whatever was purchased during the course of the marriage.
