a friend who is a french citizen wishes to divorce her french citizen husband. husband will not agree, is it true that they must live apart for 6 years and that lawyers will check up on them over the course of time then judicial system will grant divorce. 2 teenage kids involved who want to live with mother and other extenuating circumstances, can you refer a divorce attonney in Lyon France as well. What are average fees to complete divorce. Respectfully

You need to state where the couples reside and for how long because divorce laws are not uniform for all jurisdictions.
