Legal Question in Family Law in France

Grandparent's visitation rights

I am an American whose grandson lives in Paris with his mother. She refuses to have contact with me, and I would like to have visitations with him. Are there any provisions or presidence in French law for grandparent's visitations?

What is my first step in making visitation happen?
