Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

bancrupty or consolidation

I live in Ga, my credit score is 430, I own property with about 40,000 equity in it (So they say). Due to cc theft, cc comp did not remove charges and loss of income have been unable to meet obligations, am being sued. i do not qualify for a loan and will poss lose house if I file bankruptcy. what is next step?

No one can possibly answer such a vague question with so few facts. You do not state what you are being sued for, or for how much, but if a judgment is entered against you, you'll likely face garnishment (ie, further loss of income) and a judgment lien on your house. If you can sell the house, settle some or all debts and live cheaper, that is often the best option.

You meet with a lawyer and stop guessing what may happen. Only a full review of far more information than you posted can answer what your best options are. Since there is a suit, you MUST see the lawyer less than 30 days from when you were served.
