Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia
Chapter7
Im going to file chapter7 within the next day or two.I need to know if i can just do it myself online are do i need to get a attorney?

You cannot do it online - only lawyers can do that. You will need to personally file the paperwork with the BR Court clerk (in the appropriate district and division). Whether it is a good idea to try to do it yourself is another question, with the answer being "no" the overwhelming majority of the time.

You cannot do a Chapter 7 online. (Attorneys who are trained by the court CAN efile through the ECF system, and these are the only lawyers you should use). Chapter 7 is very complex and even most attorneys lack the expertise to do one. You want experienced counsel. If you're in metro Atlanta, call me to discuss your situation.
