Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

I filed bankruptcy and included a motorcycle that was in a wreck, there was only liabilty insurance and I was palnning to fix the bike before I filed bankruptcy. After everything was dicharged, a lawyer on behalf of the finance company contacted me saying they had the title and was wanting to settle the lien, they wont come pick up the bike and want 3300.00 to get the title. I cant junk the bike without the title but am afraid that if I fix it and put it back on the road, they will come and get it. Im not going to pay the 3300 to get the title. What can I do?

Call your bankruptcy lawyer.

Unless you reaffirmed the loan in bankruptcy, your lawyer can stop them from asking for money. However they have a right, unless you signed a reaffirmation, to take the motorcycle back.

Your lawyer has already certainly explained this to you during your case, but since you eem to still have questions, he is the one you need to call.
