Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

Establishing a Corporation with a dba name(s)

Is it possible to have a coporation with more than one ''doing business as'' (dba) name/operation under the corporation (please see example bleow)?

If so, could this be done under an S corporation or an LLC?

Example:

My Business, Inc. dba Small World

My Business, Inc. dba Little Angels

My Business, Inc. dba Magic Place

Re: Establishing a Corporation with a dba name(s)

In theory, one company (whether a corporation or an LLC) can have as many trade names as it wants. However, the names must be registered with the superior court if the owner of the trade name is not obvious. Of course, there are always potential trademark and copyright issues when choosing and using a name.
