Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

I am currently a home based import/ export broker and am trying to decide if I should incorporate in Delaware or my home state. I would like to form an LLC as a holding company and primary shareholder of my current business which I intend to incorporate. Is this a good idea or should I simply incorporate in my home state? Should I form both in Delaware?

I agree with Mr. Riddle. However, I will say that it rarely makes sense for a small business to incorporate in any state except where it is located. Would you want to travel to Delaware if the company is sued? And there would be no tax advantage since the revenue will be earned in Georgia. Plus, there would be more administrative costs. Retain a local business attorney to discuss your situation.
