Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

I have a gym membership locally and recently the manager found out that I own a mobile Personal training business and apparently feels threatened. Today I was denied entry into the gym until I "speak with the manager" who was of course not there today. Is it legal for him to deny me entry to work out when I am still a paying member of the gym just because I am in the same business he's in? Thanks.

Look at your club membership agreement. Does it say anything in it about this current situation, including solicitation of competing business interests? Also, have you been poaching or soliciting their members? Do they offer a paid personal trainer option? All these questions are important to answer your question.

In any event, depending on the terms of the contract, at a minimum, you may be entitled to a refund of the value of one day's "dues".
