Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

I was living with my ex boyfreind in his moms house and he would hit on his family and me. continued to stay there with his moms permission cause i had no where else to go at the time. there where a couple incidents where he gave me blacks eyes and hit on me and i would call the cops and his mom would tell me not to press charges that she would kick him out or take car of it.. the abuse continued and still she did nothing. he even hit her and i called the cops but she didnt press charges..well 2 weeks later he assualtede me again and broke my tail bone and cause other injuries and i had him arrested. he is currently facing aggrivated battery charge. can i cue him or his mom for pain and suffering also for being out of work.

You can sue him for what he did to you, but since he lives with his Mom and is facing jail how much money does he have? Why would you sue his Mom? For giving you a place to stay? Your biggest problem appears to be that you let him know over and over that he was free to hit you and you would not do anything about it. That was your message to him. You need to get away from them, and stay away from them, other than cooperating with the prosecutors to see that he is put away for a while.
