Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

Last night two security guards (not police) that work in my apartment complex busted through my door, one with a gun drawn on my ex-boyfriend (whom did a warrant in a different county for a probabtion violation) demanding him to get down on the ground. I asked if they had a warrant to enter my apartment and the guard told me to shut up. He proceeded to detain my ex in the apartment, although the 911 operator that my ex called said that the security guard had to let him outside. He shoved my ex up against a door and once my ex attempted to get away he beat him with his baton. Currently one of the secutrity guards is being held in jail for aggravated assualt and false imprisonment. Meanwhile, I would like to press charges and possibly sue my apartment complex, I'm just uncertain if I truly have a case.

Thank you inadvance for you help.
