Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

I ordered some Raspberry Ketones from an online company. They offered a 30 day money back guarantee.. I decided after a short amount of time that they were not for me and returned them via recorded USPS delivery. Unfortunately i got confused and shipped them back to another company that do the same thing. Instead of Premium Raspberry Keytone, I shipped them back to Original Raspberry Ketone. In the package was a letter with my complete details on and I even included the original invoice. When i finally realized what i did i contacted the company i sent them to in error and they pretty much said too bad and they get too many packages to keep track of something that was not theirs. Now I am missing my $80 refund because they will not respond back to me as to where my package went. I have confirmation that it was delivered at their address.. Do I have any legal standing that they should have contacted me and let me know? I have no clue why they could not have just done a RTS or even just given me a courtesy call to say i shipped it wrong. I can ill afford the $80 and am really hoping that someone can advise me what i might be able to do. Thanks!

Frankly, you messed up and tried to return the wrong product to a company. That means you're clearly not entitled to a refund. So unless as a courtesy they wish to be nice, you're out of luck.

I'll add (a little late) that if you don't have $80 to lose, you should not be throwing it away on supplements like this (regardless of whether it is one of the many supplements Dr Oz pushes day after day). Use the money for healthy real food.
