Attorney Died

I was court ordered to pay attorney fees to an attorney but he died am I still liable for the debt

Debts do not go away when someone dies (on either side). You owe the law practice and/or the lawyer's estate (depending on more facts). You can expect someone to come after you if you do not pay, and that might be the Judge holding you in contempt for violating a court order.
