There is no way to tell you on those limited facts. We need to know how you stole the money, why you did, the rest of your criminal history, etc. And you should NOT post this online, as the prosecutor can read everything you post, including what you just posted. You are facing possible prison and you should ALREADY have a lawyer. Get one immediately. It matters.

This is not a credit issue. Its a criminal law issue. If you can afford to do so and have not done it yet, hire your own criminal law attorney. Given the amount of money, you are looking at felony charges and jail time is going to be more likely than not depending on your prior criminal record and any aggravating/mitigating circumstances relating to the crime.

If you cannot afford to hire an attorney, then you can receive a court appointed attorney. Its better than nothing, but the attorney may try to induce you to plead guilty, in return maybe for a reduced offense or prison time.

Please do not post any of the details on a public message board and get a criminal attorney as soon as possible as suggested by myself and Attorney Ashman.
