can a law office put a freeze on my bank account without my knowledge

Your question lacks any details, but if you are asking would you be told in advance of a garnishment, the answer is obviously no. If creditors had to warn you, you'd be able to evade garnishment. You got a warning when you lost the original suit. After that, a garnishment can happen at any time.
