Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Do I owe this money?

I had a corporate credit card issued by my employer (who I have not been associated with for almost 4 years). I never requested the card nor did I ever sign a document stating I have responsibly to pay, if they could not collect from the company. The company went bankrupt; about 6 months ago I started getting calls from the credit card company saying I owed the balance from the card. This card was used 100% for company business. Can they come to me 4 years after the fact and try to collect from me a debt that I never knew existed? They are now saying they are going to ''charge off'' my account. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Whether you have liability or not is something where we would need more information to determine. If you don't, a letter from a lawyer may help. Our office could do that at a nominal fee if appropriate. Our contact information is at www.glenashman.com .
