Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

I received a order terminating garnishment wtihholdings. The order states that the plaintiff failed to submit proof of service upon the Defendant as required by law.

The garnishment is ordered released and the disbursement of funds remaining int the registry is ordered to be returned to the defendant.

The garnishment is released and ordered that the garnishee is released from filing any more answers in the case.

What does this mean for me? Can they still file and put another garnishment on my wages?

On the assumption that the judgment is still valid, it appears that only the garnishment was incorrect. They can resume/continue collection activities if they have a valid judgment. If it is significant, you may want to consider negotiating a settlement with the fund that are in the registry.
