Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Three years ago i moved from michigan to georgia i recently had a lien put against my bank account for something that happen in 2005 i had a repo and owed less than a thousand dollars now they say i owe them 7000 can the state that i no longer reside in put a lien on my bank account in georgia and if i file bankruptcy and they have not released the money from the bank can i get that money back and what action do i need to take in georgia

In most repossessions you end up owing more than your balance. For there to be a levy on a bank account, you already lost a lawsuit.
