Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I am being charged with a misdemeanor possession charge (marij.) in Dougherty co., GA, I will be turning myself in in a few days, but the marijuana was found during an unrelated search of my home that was later determined to be due to an ex girlfriend making a false report on me. What can I expect and do I have a chance of dismissal due to the fact that it was confiscated during an unrelated search that produced no results?
