Forgery

What is the statute of Limitation on Forgery? The forgery was initially a felony for about 500-600 dollars.

Re: Forgery

The statute of limitations for the prosecution of a felony (including forgery) is four years. There are some exceptions as to when the period begins to run, for example, if the prosecutor does not know the identity of the person who committed the crime, or the person charged is evading prosecution.
