Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Can a Hotel be held liable for the theft of a vehicle, due to neglect in a number of ways. That advertises safe and secure, and you pay for a parking space.

Not a criminal question, but a civil one. Assume the answer is yes, can you pay a civil lawyer his fee to pursue it. No? Then it doesn't matter.

You asked in the wrong area of law guru as this is a civil matter and most criminal lawyers may not know the answer.

As a general rule, the theft is why smart people carry full coverage insurance. Assuming you did, you just call your insurer. If you did not, you will likely have a weak case. But if you feel the facts are unusual, and you can afford the $10K or more retainer, you can higher a lawyer. If the amount is less than $15,000 you may decide to proceed pro se in Magistrates Court but see a lawyer first to be sure you even have a claim.
