Whether you are being charged as a minor depends on the prosecutor. The prosecutor could treat you as an adult, which means you would probably be facing at a minimum boot camp (90-120 days, plsu 4-5 years on probation). If you are treated as a minor it will probably mean probation. The best part of this situation is the fact that you do not know you are going to be a career criminal (if you are not shot and killed by a home owner). Who at sixteen enters someone else's residence, while they are home in order to take their stuff. You don't even pretend to deny the charges. Fortunately for me I have represented more than 2500 clients, which means I have seen 2500 criminal histories (GCICs). The worse criminal offenders started their careers committing seuxal assaults and/or burglaries. See my website: www.lawrencelewispc.com Good luck to you.
