Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Am i better off doing it or should a lawyer do it

My lawyer got my case reduced to 5 years probation and i would be under the first offenders act. When go and apply for a job it still comes up, he said i would not have to. When i asked him he said he would do it for 1,200 extra, is that the way it is done?. Is it a way that i can do it myself tell me how? Because i am not going to pay him any more money. I just need it off my record cause i can't land a job. I hope you can help me thank you.

Well if you aroen't going to pay him, I guess you have to do it yourself. Attorneys charge to seal records.

Your lawyer is a businessman. $1200 is a lot of money.

I usually charge $500.00 for this action. I will be in Albany at 518 438 6469 on Tuesday and much of Wednesday. I would be able to meet you then to discuss your case.
