Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia
My mother passed away 6 months ago and there has been a lot of discord in the family since... Civil and probate matters. However, I recently recieved a letter from my brother regarding my step father... both live in Georgia, I live in Boston. The letter said that my step father told my brother he is out to get me. My brother went further to say, "he says things to me like I am not your brother". I have to go to Georgia soon and am extremely nervous. I don't know what he has planned for me. My question is, is the statement of him saying he is out to get me considered assault?
