violation of probation
If you are on probation for misdemeanor possesion of marijuana and you get a speeding ticket for going 18 mph over, and you are 19 yrs of age, is this violation of probation, and will you go to jail?

Your question is compound, so it needs to be answered in sections. A violation of the law is a violation of probation. Whether you go to jail or not depends on the judge and the facts associated with your case. 18 over the speed limit could have some aggravating factors. To give you a better answer I would need more information, but I don't think you are going to jail. That may not be all your potential problems, however, and for that reason you need to speak to an attorney.
